A Sick Dog

sick dog remedies?? please help.?

well just took both my dogs early today to the vet and spent a good $200 on the both of them for shots. when i arrived my dalmatian started to get the runs really bad. the vet just thought maybe it was his nerves. I say he had about 2 accidents while there. after i left it hit me!… the night before he vomited.. so now im thinking he has a bug. I wish while i so happend to be at the vet she would of realized he had a bug. so now since the vet is closed til monday… he has uncontrolably pooped on my floor and notice very light blood. His poop is almost like watery mudd. There wasnt a whole lot …just a little. I gave my dalmatian some water and he threw up a little of that. I called up the emergencey vet but they are wanting to charge me a $300 fee just to see him. That is not including the medication or treatment.

So until I can get him into the vet monday morning are there any remedies I can try? Anything that can help him relive his symptoms? I gave him one tbs of pepto…. I think that helped a little… but is there anything else I can give him? You’re advice would be appericated.

******Oh and no one please think my dog is in serious harm! I know some people on here freak out and say the dumbest things. For the moment my dog ISNT showing any signs of weakness or anything to bad. He is still his same old self running and playing around. If he were showing serious signs i would on yahoo answers. trust me.*******

Try mixing in some canned pumpkin in with his kibble. Make sure it’s 100% pumpkin, NOT the pumpkin pie filling.
