do animal shelters like seaaca take in dogs that are sick and cure them?

my neighbor found a dog 2 days ago and was going to take to the animal shelter and we think the dog is sick. will they help the dog?
seaaca is an animal shelter

I would call them and ask, woudn’t hurt.

    It depends on the dog’s level of illness and the shelter’s level of commitment.
